JetPay PCiFrame (Hosted Payment Solution) is perfect for online merchants that do not want the hassle of taking, transmitting or storing of credit card data. PCiFrame is available as a web standards compliant HTTPS iFrame call and can be implemented across virtually ANY platform and browser combination.

The Process

  • 1. Merchant Checkout Page - This is generally the customer review page showing the order and the total amount to be paid. This page will POST the open filed variables to the PCiFrame Merchant Script. This includes the amount to charge, the return URL's, Customer ID information to track the transaction.
  • 2. PCiFrame Merchant Script - The merchant script is provided to the merchant by JetPay and is hosted on the merchants' server like any other page in their site. The script collects the variable data from the merchant POST and combines it with specific merchant information to generate the URL needed to load the PCiFrame payment form in the merchants iFrame.
  • 3. Merchants iFrame Page - The merchants page that contains the iFrame where PCiFrame loads based on the URL generated in the PCiFrame Merchant Script.
  • 4. JetPay Payment Engine - Once the customer has completed the PCiFrame card payment form, the data is submitted to the JetPay Payment Engine for processing.
  • 5. Approved or Decline - After the transaction has been processed, PCiFrame will display either an APPROVED or a DECLINED message. This message will include a Transaction ID and other details about the transaction.
  • 6. Return to the Merchant the APPROVED or DECLINED message the customer is returned completely back to the merchants site. Where in the merchants' site is handled by the return URL's that are provided by the merchant in their POST to the PCiFrame Merchant Script.

PCiFrame integrates quickly into any site, simply gather the preliminary information such as the amount to be paid, billing information etc and pass that to the PCiFrame via an iFrame and JetPay takes care of the rest. Further, since the actual forms that collect the card data are on JetPay's secure PCI-DSS compliant servers merchants are safe in the knowledge that they are not collecting or transmitting card data.

The PCiFrame system can handle various types of transactions such as SALE, AUTHONLY and JetPay's Tokenization product Account Safe.


With open fields for Order Numbers and free form data fields that can be followed in JetPay's GetReporting system, the PCiFrame can help existing online merchants process better and help new online merchants get up and running faster.
